The classic line “All your base are belong to us” or shortened to AYBABTU taken from the opening cut scene of the English version of the 1989 Japanese video game Zero Wing by Toaplan
Here is a You Tube video of the scene if you need reminding how bad … errr I mean good… this computer game was:
..
For a slightly different take of it and what I think makes a pretty cool t-shirt, combining the “All your base are belong to us” slogan with the classic space invader “characters” a must for any gamer:
Thin Lizzy one of the all time great rock bands formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1969.
They are probably best known for “Jailbreak” and “The Boys Are Back in Town”, both major international hits still played regularly on hard rock and classic rock radio stations.
With this in mind and the fact that you can easily find other classic rock band T-Shirts like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Jimi Hendrix T-Shirts, I decided to see if I could find a Thin Lizzy T-Shirt in the UK (as I am a fan) …. no such luck! What about a Thin Lizzy T-Shirt in the USA, you got it I cant find one online! OK lets try the whole world, nothing!! So please if there is anyone out there who knows where I can find a Thin Lizzy T-shirt please let me know!
For now you and I will have to be satisfied with the other great classic rock bands and here is a great t-shirt I found from the 80’s rock band Guns n Roses:
Some Music Bands logo designs are classics and like a fine wine mature over time, they never die. A few of these classics, include AC/DC Metallica, Iron Maiden and Kiss which is probably along with AC/DC one of the most instantly recognisable music logos ever created.
There are other great rock bands that never really managed to create a logo that would stand the test of time, Ozzy Osbourne springs to mind. Or what about the Rollin Stones, everyone can remember the logo with the tongue sticking out and it makes for a really great T-Shirt, but can you remember their actual logo?
These T-Shirts come from Every Thing But The Music, a company specialising selling music inspired fashion. Everything from t-shirts to trousers, hats to shoes. Their range includes brands like Lee Jeans, Converse, Vans, Adeline and Gio Goi as well as official band merchandise from over 200 bands across Metal, Rock, Indie and Punk music genres. In fact, everything you need to create the look of your favourite rock star. The deliver world wide and offer free delivery to the UK!
So if you want a Tshirt with a classic Band and a classic logo you really cant go far wrong with a Kiss T-Shirt and hey their music ain’t half bad either! Just follow the link below.
Ok, with this Mr T T-Shirt (Bit of a tongue twister that!) I am being a little biased as it is based on the same theme as my site, but hey I do think that this t-shirt is pretty cool and the vintage 80’s style of t-shirt works really well.
You can find this Mr T T-Shirt as well as a few other A Team legends from My Tee Spot. They also have a bunch of other pretty cool vintage shirts, to check em out follow the link below.
Funny thing with vintage style shirts, I really love them now, but I can remember as a kid having tons of “authentic” versions (hand me downs from my older brothers) and I really hated them at the time, if I only knew then what I know now!
$9.99 Sale - Ends Soon!
Wow, just realised that that is the most commercial heading I have aver written, but to be honest I couldnt really think of a better way to put it across that there is actually a pretty cool sale of t-shirts going on over at Busted, so if you are in the market for a really cool T-Shirt, and busted do produce some pretty cool designs, then you may as well save a few $ and get em while they are on sale. Oh and as an added bonus, if you buy 3, you get free shipping thrown in on top of it!
I dont usually post videos, but thought this neat trick may be able to help some of you out. I have never been able to fold a T-Shirt and after watching this video, it had only made me more confused! Still pretty impressive that it is possible to do so quickly!
I particularly liked this one because even if you have been living under a rock for the last few decades and didn’t know about captain Odama and his crew of merry men, I think you’d still find the humor in this t-shirt, with the toasters having a plan.
One sale at Cafepress and available in a number of different styles starting at $11.99 for a plain white Battlestar T-shirt through to £28.99 for a Women’s Raglan Hoodie there is something for every aspiring Starbuck. Click this link to go and get em.
This retro styled t-shirt with attitude made me smile, and definitely would suit a few girls that I know! It has a classical simplicity to it, and all looks totally innocent, until you read the unobtrusive caption that says: “I’m hot enough to be a pain in the ass”
Where to get it: You can pick it up off Mr-TShirt.com for $18.99 and it is also available in plenty of other styles of women’s t-shirts: click here
